Every year we look into teams and what we believe they can do, and to the casual fan it's simply this team did this and they were this good last year however every year there is a team that rises from the ashes and surprises all or at least most. Through this series I will go through each and every team starting from number 32 and all the way up to the Super Bowl champions of this upcoming season. I will be going through every aspect of a team and ranking them from 1-32 and how it impacts their teams finally I will give a record prediction and of course now it is time to get to business.
NO. 32: New York Giants

QB Situation: NO. 32: I understand the reasoning to believe that the giants have the heir to Eli Manning however I do not believe that Daniel Jones will be a top tier quarterback and Eli Manning is on the down spiral. Eli already appears to being outplayed by Jones I understand that is not saying much however the Giants have already stated their starting QB will be Eli, now while I do believe this will be followed through I also see Daniel Jones being thrown into the fire at some point in this season when he isn't ready. If Eli starts all 16 games next year it will benefit Jones and the Giants in the long term however they will be very bad next season.

RB Situation: NO. 17: Trust me I do believe that Saquon has the potential to be one of the greatest backs in history however he can't touch the ball every time and the depth behind him is just bad. I don't believe Wayne Gallman has any potential to be a reliable number two and Paul Perkins hasn't played in a few seasons. If this team even had just one more reliable RB 2 then I would I would have no problem ranking them number 1.
WR/TE Situation: NO. 13: The Giants while lacking a true number one receiver they have a team wide array of options that are reliable, Corey Coleman looked like he had some football knowledge last year in New York. Sterling Shepard and Golden Tate are on the top tier of number two receivers in the league and Evan Ingram is one of the best young receiving tight ends in the entire NFL.

Offensive Line Situation: NO. 20: Oh my god! The giants have a almost league average Offensive Line, a group that alongside the Cardinals has been the laughing stock of the league for many years. The only issue with the offensive line is the consistency of Nate Solder at left tackle which, and how will Mike Remmers fair at tackle again especially since he was awful last year playing at guard for the Vikings.
Defensive Line Situation: NO. 13: The Giants already had a great defensive line going into last year and while they could have used the 6th pick on a guy like Devin Bush and waited on Daniel Jones to improve a position of need they instead got Dexter Lawrence to play NT, with that the giants now have youth and good youth at each and every position on the defensive line. In a few years this could easily grow to be one of the best if not the best at the position.

Linebacker Situation: NO. 32: The easiest way to say it is that this part of the team just isn't talented. Yes, Alec Ogletree got a ton of interceptions last year however he wasn't good in coverage most of his play came off of right place right time for tipped balls. The only player with any upside or room to show growth this year is Lorenzo Carter and his impact while it could vastly improve won't change this group enough. The sack production especially without Olivier Vernon will fall drastically, and with that the core just isn't good enough.

Secondary Situation: NO. 30: The Giants did get much younger and probably much better however the group is still very young and very raw. Deandre Baker will more than likely be the number 1 corner from day 1 and guys like Sam Beal and Julian Love will have great impacts with small sample sizes. The shocker is that the Giants have a great strong safety but they downgraded, at this moment in time Jabril Peppers is a watered down version of Landon Collins who they let walk in free agency.
Coaching Situation: NO.28: The Giants coaching grew alot after last year, I do believe that the staff is better than what is shown but with what they have hurts them a lot. James Bettcher has proven to be a great coordinator before. With a very offensive minded head coach the offense should improve and hopefully does.
Overall the Giants have ma The Giants coaching grew a lot after last year, I do believe that the staff is better than what is shown but with what they have hurts them a lot. James Bettcher has proven to be a great coordinator before. With a very offensive minded head coach the offense should improve and hopefully does. With the overarching woes at the quarterback position, and it being about as reliable as a wet paper bag the best I can see this team going is about 3-13 with the worst of course being 0-16 and sadly this is probably the only team I can say this for this season.
Final Record Prediction: The Giants will go 1-15 this season. I do believe that they will have one of the worst defenses beyond the defensive line and their Quarterback play will be well beyond sub-par.
